Raised in Salt Lake City and shaped by his mission in the Philippines, John has spent years helping people connect with the gospel through humor, storytelling, and powerful insight. He earned a Master’s Degree in Religious Education from BYU and now teaches Book of Mormon and New Testament courses at the BYU Salt Lake Center.

A beloved speaker and the author of dozens of books and audio programs, John jokingly describes his work as “effective non-prescription sleep aids” — though audiences everywhere would strongly disagree.
